Play Time

I spent last night over at the rather wonderful Northern Print having a play at paper-cut screen printing, a technique I hadn't used since I was 15 years old and still in a school uniform. It took a while to get my head around making a negative stencil rather than a positive and actually cut a part of the design off without thinking, but managed to repair it with good old masking tape.

On the image on the right I messed up like an amateur and forgot to flood the screen, but I actually reckon it's got a lot more charm than the 'proper' one on the left!
